The vertical declining sundial presented on this page is located in a retirement village in Kitchener, Ontario. The dial is located at latitude 43°30' N and longitude 80°30' W, declines 43° E,  and was constructed in 2001. 

The sundial was designed by Dr. Paul Lapp and built by Hugh Lemon.

This vertical declining sundial is constructed from wood and is 2 feet high and 1.5 feet wide. The owner chose a motto that is on a dial in England and can be found on page 13 in the book "sundials" by Christopher St. J.H. Daniels - "Go about your Bufinefs" 1799.
